The Danish Dogsled Patrol carries 1917 Enfields for defense against polar bears. (Secret from a professional biologist for 20 years: We don't find Bigfoot bodies because polar bears eat them!).

When guiding in Bigfoot country,

I like a fast handling semi-auto 50 BMG handloaded with Barnes original bullets. ;):D

I hunted with a 30-06 for many decades. I was in the very thick pines next to a apple orchard. I jumped something but it was going away from me crashing everything in its path. I shouldn't of been in there. I picked out a new caliber a 338wm. With its 4,000ft.lbs @ muzzle and 2,700ft.lbd @ 200yds it's plenty of gun.

At my camp I hear screams at night. There's an area near me where the vt natives won't go. I was in the fog rattling and had something run at me. It sounded very fast on two legs. At home there was a sighting near me. I also hear screams at night. Both areas have reported sightings on bfro.
I won't shoot it, but if attacked I'll take pics of the body.

My camp gun for years was a sks with a 30rd mag. Now it's a 8mm hakim.
