Minor power outage

I was thinking about another electrical system a 12 v system, solar, batteries, generator backup. Maybe an inverter for 110 v.

I ran my camp in the wilds on 12 v for lights but there’s so much now for 12 v campers.

One of the advantages of being tied to a regulated utility is they are required to spend monies on upgrading their system. One of the advantages of not being so are the factors involved in dealing with slow or non paying customers. The system owner may be making $$ and saving costs to you because he is buying the system power without the maintenance costs. I would look hard at leaving when the system is between 10-15 years old and certainly before it gets 18-20.

This is turning out to be an electrifying thread! Hope we don't go over the capacitance of the forum. I am getting a spark of an idea but I don't won't to be accused of negative conduct
