Going through pistol boxes tonight and realized that the box for my Model 60 is labeled wrong from the factory. The revolver is the standard -14, .357 Magnum with a 2 1/8" barrel. The box though, is labeled as a -15 with a 3" barrel, the gun I should have bought! The serial numbers match, just appears to be a misprint at the factory.
I've heard of several mistakes of this sort in the old days, any idea how common this sort of thing is now? Sure wish I could convince S@W to swap for me!
