Missouri Bullet Co ?

Used them exclusively until they got swamped on orders. Their policy of charging my CC and then taking 3 to 4 weeks to ship turned me off. I have purchased the same bullet from S&S Casting. They do not charge your CC until they ship & really do a great job of packing. Far superior to MBC's just dumping them in a cardboard box.

Just got 4K this past week. 2K per box. As usual the four boxes of 500 ea. were sealed and they were inside a heavy plastic bag tied with a zip tie. The box was then securely taped.
What else should they have done?

Mine would come loose in a heavy cardboard box, NOT inside a bag. Lots of time the wax (lube) would be missing from half a dozen or more bullets.

S&S Casting has a 'foam insert top & bottom (500 rds). Those boxes are then inside a lg box with foam on top. bottom and sides. Very well packed. Same cost for bullets, a dollar more shipping, and 5 lbs more per max weight limit.

Out of all the thousands of posts on MBC on this forum and several other forums, (with many more reloaders than here) you are the only one I have read that has stated such a thing.

Every box of bullets is sealed and all enclosed in a heavy 6mil plastic bag.

They probably have the highest customer satisfaction of any Mom and Pop company. They are retired, started a business for something to do and got so popular they work 24/7 and have just expanded and got more equpment and more staff.

But of course buy where you feel the best.

I ordered 2k 200g # 68 swc on Monday morning ,got an e-mal this afternoon saying the order is complete. Hopefully I get them by the weekend. I'm still waiting on the same bullets from Penn the owner said they were like 2 or so weeks out so hopefully I get them soon and I should be set for a while.

Penn e-mailed me today,2 weeks to the day and the bullets are on there way. It's been a long time for me since I last loaded .45 acp, I hope I have better luck accuracy wise than with the current 230 ball I've been shooting. I know it's going to be allot less expensive as all the ammo I've been buying is $25.00 a box.

Midatlantic bullets is good i shoot their 200 wadcutters from them as well as mbc im in south jersey as well what exit

MBC is great. I order from them exclusively now after trying other brands. If you can beat the quality, price, service combo - then please let us know.

However, I doubt you will...

I need some hard cast .45 - 200 g swc and see Missouri Bullets has them. These are strictly a target load for one of my 1911,s anyone have any experience with there bullets?

I've shot thousand upon thousands of MBC bullets without issue. Many of those have been their .45 200g LSWC. They are my go to company for cast bullets.

I bought some .357 and .44 from MBC a month or two ago, haven't loaded any yet, but so far they look good. Glad to hear they are shipping quickly again, it was part of the reason I went with them in the first place. I went with them after issues with another company, so far so good. Probably pick up some 200 H&G 68s from them soon, starting to get a little low on .45s.

They have the best price on target fodder I've found. I use their 9mm lcn and 44mag Keith. They make good bullets at excellent prices.

As a high volume user of Missouri Bullet product for 38 Spec and 45 LC I am very pleased with quality, price and customer service.
