Hey Guys.

So I Have a Shield and a MP 9 Pro series. The front sight from the Pro is a Novak Fiber Optic that came with the gun. I went ahead and switched it over to the shield. For the Shield I had purchased a Hiviz Fiber Optic Red front sight and that one I installed it on the Pro. I just liked the Red for the Pro since I would like to train for IDPA in the future and I feel the Red is easier to pick up. Question is, anyone see anything wrong with this setup change? I will be going to the range tomorrow. I would like to get rear sights for the Shield as well. Not sure If I have to go with Novaks as well. Or If I can use Hiviz. Any imput would be appreciated. Thanks in advance and be safe.

Nothing wrong and the only thing mismatched sights could cause is a variance in elevation POI. If the different sight height is higher/lower, then your POA will not match the POI. That is all that will happen, and should the elevation be off, you can adjust your aiming point. Windage can be easily adjusted by drifting the sight left or right.
