Does anyone know the date of manufacture for this Mod 18 SN K357161 ?

Manufacture dates are mostly not knowable, but shipment dates are. Based on nearby serial numbers, that one probably left the factory in 1959 or 1960. But S&W had no policy that forced shipment in serial number order, so the only way to know the date for sure is to order a factory letter for $50.
