i came across a 357 mag s@w mod 19-5 i was told it was a trooper comm it has on the side the words :marcas regstradas:also on the inside :adr1842 can anybody tell me more it was made in usa .i was told it was fairly old it has gold buttons on the top of the grips with the sw logo on it wood grips these are the only #on the gun

Although this 19-5 is about 25 years old (mid-1980s), we don't consider it an "Antique".

On the right side of the frame it should have these four lines


ADR... is the serial number.

You mention a trooper comm. Is there a logo on the left sideplate? S&Ws trademark should be on the left under the thumbpiece.
