MOD 28-2

Greetings,
I'm a brand new member on this forum and I'm a dealer in Oklahoma. Recently I came into a few mint condition S&W Revolvers, all original, never fired.

I'd like to know what the value is on this 28-2; I actually have two of these in the same condition. Original box, papers, wax paper, cleaning kit. Serial number N952xxx. I don't know much about values on said unfired revolvers.

Any help would be appreciated.

I would put a $500-$550 tag on them. There are a lot of -2s around, but the box and stuff should make them sell easily.

I've personally handled the exact opposite. A pinned 28-2 without the recessed cylinder. I just assumed it was a transitional piece since it was produced just before the switch to the non pinned/recessed model 28-3.
