Same exact gun I bought last year for $800. All target in box with all paperwork and accessories only mine is in blue. Maybe $100 premium for nickel so value at $900 to $1000. I love mine too, but the long tubes are not bringing the big money right now. Enjoy your gun and take care of it and the value will not go down but up as time moves on.

I'd say, given the description, I presume the box is long gone, around $800.

Last year I gave $1000 for a blued 29-3, 8-3/8",#T's, with combats on it in very nice shape and with no accessories at a LGS, FWIW.

Anywhere from $750 - $1000 is fair depending on your location.

$850 - $925 is probably what I would expect to see on a hang tag by me.

The Nickel bumps it up, but the 8 3/8 barrel bumps it back down.

Great Revolver though.

From what I've seen of late, a tag price of $1,000. would not surprise me, but I would anticipate the seller to take about $800. to make a sale.... Perhaps a bit less due to the long tube and lack of box & tools. If you are selling, get it in front of as many people as possible - someone out there is looking for one for sure.

Thanks for all of your responses. I don't think I'm going to part with this baby! Just like to know for some reason the going rate for my Smith revolvers. I shoot em & luv em!! 29-3,19-3,10-5,25-15,625-8,360j,686-6,1905, 36!!
