Mod 29 Production Year

Hello Guys
I have a 5 7/8" mod 29-2 blued with a serial number of N6416XX and I was wondering when it was made. The guy I bought it from thought he got it around 1975 but it would be nice to know.

That number should be 1979-80.

Yes, the 6" version didn't come out until '79. Prior to that they were 6.5" Barrels.
