Mod 41 Ammo

I'm wondering if its safe to shoot high velocity ammo in my 41? I use
Wolf for league shooting but how about Blazer for pinking and practice?

There are prople who will tell you to only shoot standard velocity ammo in it but I shoot about everything except mini mag ammo in mine. I shoot Remington and Federal Buck pack for plinking. I shoot CCI standard velocity for serious shooting but it has become hard to find and expensive when I do find it. I was at a gun show the week before last and the only dealer that had some wanted $10 a hundred for them.

I've shot Blazer, Federal, Winchester, Remington and Mini-Mags through mine. My 41 is finicky and doesn't always function properly with Federal (ejection problems), does better with Blazer, has no problem with the Remington or the Mini-Mags. I haven't shot Winchester for awhile, so I don't remember how well it did with that.I don't shoot the Mini-Mags too often.

I too use CCI Standard Vel for serious shooting, but have had no problems plinking with Eley Sport. Sportsmans Guide has it now ... and if you google you will find $10 off coupons that will take care of most of your shipping cost.
