Mod. 61-1

The Model 61 was called the "Escort". .22 Caliber pocket pistol. It was produced from 1970-1973. They were produced in blue and Nickel. There were 64,938 of them made with 4 engineering changes. 61, 61-1, 61-2, 61-3. They were not popular and had some malfunctioning problems. Quite a few were returned to the factory and many were replaced rather than repaired.

In the past few years there has been a slight growing interest in them from a collector status, as there were not all that many made, they are unique, many are found in really excellent condition. and the prices are usually not excessive. A collection of Semi-Auto's wouldn't be complete without one.

The "book" lists values between ANIB $450 to Good $200.

You can find out more about your Model 61 here - it is an article that subsequently was published in my book 101 Classic Firearms.

Hope it will be interest for you.
