Model 10-10 w/ serrated backstrap & forestrap on a round butt frame

I purchased this model 10-10 for a re-barreling project because it has a heavy barrel frame with a round butt. Upon inspection, I noticed its backstrap and forestrap are serrated. Page 204 of SCSW4 says "1996 Begin shipments in blue plastic case. Begin serrated backstrap and forestrap on a round butt frame for about 18 months then is discontinued."

Is this a relatively uncommon configuration? I'm afraid that I may regret having it re-barreled if I move forward with the project.

That's good to know. This one doesn't appear to have any agency markings or import marks.
