I saw a Smith marked 10-11 in my LGS today. 3" barrel with shrouded ejector! Round butt.

Never seen one of these before. Sorry, no pictures. It looked nice, no blue wear to speak of, seemed sound, good timing, etc. They want a lot of course, $599!

Anyhow, this was a new one on me - always have like the 3" guns but never seen one of these before.

Anybody have one or any opinions?

Sounds like a product code 100135. It's a pretty uncommon beast. The only other one I saw was a -10.

That gun had a BPY serial number prefix and a December 1993 ship date. They have a special history but I forgot what it was.

What's the serial number of this gun?

There was/is a model 10-10 as you describe this one, made for a Brazilian contract. Perhaps it is a later one built on a -11 frame. Did you notice if it had the separate or integral frame lug (the part that keeps the cylinder from falling out with the gun upside down)?

Quite the steal at $599 if you are inclined to have one.

10-11 gone gone

Some one snatched up that revolver between my visits to the gun shop. In answer to a poster's question, I believe it had the old style frame lug.

I have too many of those k-frame six shooters anyway - but it was a mighty interesting piece and in great condition.
