The 10-7 is a standard barrel. Realistically, you will most likely find a 10-6 or 10-8 at a decent price, as those were the most commonly seen variants, purchased in large numbers by police during the last glory decades of the revolver era.
Of those, you can still find heavily used police trade-ins in the mid- to upper 200s, with the price drifting up to maybe 400 as your cosmetic demands increase. For a really nice shooter, that would be max.
PS: The attached pics show a 1968 NYPD Model 10-6 for 300. That was a few years ago, but I still see comparable ones on GB regularly.
