I am restoring a victory navy pistol. The cylinder is not turning when cocking. I need a hand torsion spring and cannot find one through the normal gun parts stores: numrick, midway, brunells are all out. Any help. Thanks Mark

By the way, the Victory model is NOT a Model 10. After WW II, S&W went to a short action. The fixed sight K frame .38 special revolvers were called the Military & Police model. Model numbers were not assigned until 1957.

The Victory model is considered a wartime version of the .38 Military & Police Model of 1905-4th Change.
