Model 1000 serial

Can anyone help me determine date on this model 1000 I just got today. Serial # fc76099.

It is a model 1000 super 12.

The Super 12 was introduced in 1984 and then S&W discontinued their entire long gun line after 1984. You have a very nice shotgun that was only produced for one year.
