First off I don't know if this is pre or post 80
so I apologize to the Admins. if this is in the wrong forum.
I have a set of what are supposed to be Mod 12 RB stocks that I have no use for, and doubt I ever will.
I want to sell them off but I want to make sure they are Mod 12 stocks first.
How can I tell?
Of course once I sell them I'll find a mint 12 for cheap money wearing Pachs.

The M12 grips are a bit thinner and won't fit very well on a K Frame. Just try them to confirm. I sold a few sets here on the Forum years ago that I though were K frame grips when I bought them - not realizing it at the time they were for M12. When I went to use them, I realized they weren't K frame grips.

The washers that hold the medallions are half the thickness of regular K frame ones. That is for the black washer ones that I have. I don't know about the ones with silver washers. As said, side by side with known steel K frame grips is a quick visual.

My poor mans feeler gage is a stack of 3 nickels or 4 pennies. On 12-3 stocks and older, they should fit snugly in the gap between the upper horns when the unmounted stocks are pressed together. In 1984 they went to standard K frame thickness and stocks.
