About $400 to $600 depending on condition, where in the country you are trying to sell it, and how bad a buyer wants it!
If that is the gun it looks far better than most Model 12s
If you are asking for insurance purposes declare it at $400. The only time value matters is at the time of loss, and then they will pay whatever it would cost for them to replace it, regardless. All you are doing when you declare a value when adding any item to a Personal Articles Floater is telling the company how much premium to charge for it. I wrote Personal Lines Insurance for 25 years until I retired in 2019.

I live in DFW, if that gun was listed on the local boards for $600 I don't believe it would last a day.

I live in Tulsa and around here it would be hard to find one for sale at $700 in that sort of condition. Selling it retail I think it's worth $700 all day long.

The M12 has been somewhat of a headache to both the Air Force and S&W. They do not hold up well, tend to crack and it is not a revolver I'd care to own or shoot. If you want one just to complete your collection and don't really plan on shooting it, maybe - but I'd certainly check it out very carefully before buying it. IMHO the M-12 is NOT one of the Company's best efforts! I understand some guys look at it as a collectible and for that purpose it might be - just don't plan on treating it like the similar but steel version, M10.
