I saw a 13-3, 3" in very nice condition yesterday
that was not on my "dance card".

Any m13 fans out there?

I kinda happened into one at a good price and bought it to flip. Liked it too much to sell and added a set of Professional Compac Pachmayr's with the open back - these fit my hand better than any grip I have ever tried. I dehorned the hammer and its slick as cat poop in and out of the pocket. She's found a home.

Buy it - you can sell the 19 and 10 HB.

Bought one with a 3" bbl, RB, and non-factory Pachmyers on it a couple weeks ago for $350. This gun is identical to those issued to the FBI from about '74-'87 when they went to the 10mm.
It is a perfect carry gun and it shoots great. I used it in an IDPA match last weekend.
Not selling the 2.5" M-19 though. Its just cool.

I can't sell the 19 so I did the next best thing. I traded the

10-14HB with that gorgeous KL hole for the 13-3.

paid $190 for mine about 10 yrs ago; came with a trigger job. it was an old police trade in; tackdriver; shoots better ta most pc guns

Model 13 is one of my favorites. With 125 grn .357 loads I could consistently ding soda bottles at 75 yards. Mine was a 3" Rb and was a great carry gun. Should never have sold it.

The model 13 is the gun that was not even on my want list, and is now the one I shoot and carry the most. I liked it so much I got another and now I have a 3 incher on the list. Not only did it make the list, it jumped right into the top 5.

After my 2nd trip to the range with my 13-3, I believe that

this model may be a S&W sleeper.

I believe that it was Jeff Cooper who said that 3 things make

up an effective handgun:

speed, accuracy and power. This model has all 3.

Hi,
Good decision to by the 13-3. I have a 13-2 4 inch and love the revolver. Still looking for a 3 inch barrel. I still feel its hard to find a M13 versus a M19.
