Model 13 holster

I'm left handed and found a DeSantis left hand thumb break scabbard for a four inch Model 13. I can probably buy it for a deal, since I work for the people who own the store I found it in, but the question is, how well will it work with my three inch 13? I really don't want to wait the amount of time most makers require, and this holster is available cheap, so what do y'all think? Reckon the only difference is the extra inch of barrel?

DeSantis makes a fine product. So long as you don't mind having a one-inch long void at the bottom of the holster I see no problems at all.
