What is the going tariff for a S&W Model 13-2, P&R, 3" barrel?

In SF Bay area ANY three inch model 13 in 90% or better condition starts at 500.00

A P&R 13 three inch that is LNIB is an easy 600.00 +

All the three inch pre lock / pre mim K and L frames in 38/357 are not only wanted by collectors but also are VERY popular for CCW and OFF DUTY.

In my neck of the woods, a decent 13 with 3" barrel is going $500 or better (same with any 3" magnum K). I know where a NIB 13-2 3" is sitting box & papers for $900.

There was a used one in the classifieds for not too much money...I bet someone has snapped it up already.

Good luck in your search.

Condition is everything. Folks ask big prices because the 3" tube is a hot item at the moment with the masses, having been appreciated in the past mostly by those who carry and actually shoot their guns.

As such, many are over priced which have not been well cared for.

It's worth whatever you can get someone to pay. To me it is not a $500 gun unless it was in as new condition with box and papers. I know folks ask and get more depending on location and how bad someone has convinced themselves they want one. YMMV

In California a model 13 either 4 inch or 3 inch is hard to find. I paid $475 for a 4 inch 13-2 that is over 95 %. I am trying to find a 3 inch but again there far and few between. I would pay $550 for a 3 inch in great shape.
Regards,
Howard

I would pay up to $550 for a 3 inch, if it was P&R and in VG to Exc shape.

$500 otherwise...
