I can tell you they are great guns. Yours probably shipped around 1966/67 or so. Here is mine K4913xx from about 1963. Mine is still new in the box.

Congrats on your Model 15!

There are several threads on the Combat Masterpiece on the forum, all of which are good reading. Many of us own them, collect them and shoot them.

You will find it a durable, reliable and accurate revolver. It's accuracy is ledgendary. As is it's stainless steel brother, the Model 67.

It is capable of using all modern ammunition including +P rated rounds.

They were built in 2 and 4 inch versions, with the square butt frame only.

There are a wide variety of accessories available for these, from holsters to speedloaders and wood or rubber stocks to fit virtually any size hand.

A fine choice. Post some pics and enjoy!

Congratulations as the Model 15 and the stainless 67 are great revolvers

My father carried a Combat Masterpiece in that very configuration as a Deputy Sheriff with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department in the late '60s / early '70s.
