Model 1500 .25-06

Greetings everyone,
Can someone provide info as to what my .25-06 can appraise for? It's in very good condition and purchased in early
'80s.

The rifle was made for S&W by Howa of japan and they were very low priced yet well made rifles. I know because I bought my son a S&W 1500 in 270 Win for $235 new. If you look at todays prices they should be worth about $400 and they have a great reputation.

I wouldn't say $235 was low priced back in the 80's. I bought my first centerfire rifle back than. Passed on the 1500 because I learned it was made in Japan. Instead I went for a Remington 700 BDL that I purchased for $232. So, with that I'd say $235 was average price.
