Model 16-2 conversion to .327 mag

Does anyone know if the 16-2 S&W .32 Long can be converted to .327 Magnum? I know the 16-4 H&R mag can. Thanks, makilly

With the pressures of the 327, I wouldn't chance it.

The 16-2 was designed for a very low pressure round and it is much too valuable to modify.

There have been a couple of threads on .327 conversions, but I believe they involved 16-4's, I don't recall anyone converting a K-32/Model 16. Sell the 16-2 to me, then buy a 16-4 to convert and have a little cash left over.

You have been given lots of good advice by several different people here. Please DO NOT modify the gun....you might as well set fire to a pile of hundred dollar bills if you decide to modify it....buy a 16-4 and modify it....you will be glad you did so later on.
