model 17 .22

i want to find out the age of an early 17 . can anyone help me figure out the age of this . 5 screw 6'' blued pinned barrel and front sight .

An approximate serial number would be necessary to answer your question. If it's actually marked as a Model 17, it'd date to 1957 or later, & should have only 3 sideplate screws. A "Pre-17" with 4 sideplate screws would be from 1955 or earlier.
