Model 17 question

How rare, or maybe I should say, how uncommon would a model 17-4 with target trigger, target hammer and target stocks be? What would the percentage of total 17's made would have these features? Would these features add much to the value of a 17-4? Thanks. RRM

That's probably the most common configuration for a 17-4. Price would be based more on condition.

I think the value would be depending on if it is a pinned gun. Some 4's are pinned and some are not. Three "T" guns usually bring a premium. Big Larry

Thee Ts would be the norm on a 17-4, I don't see them bringing any sort of premium.

My 17-4 has the three Ts and was in almost new condition when I found it at a flea market sale. Mine was about $550 and I thought I got a decent deal on it

bought this for $300 about 10 yrs. ago. Was told the grips were not original to the gun, but I'm OK with that. I don't think they're "rare" but make a nice shooter!
