Model 18 Birthdate

I recently purchased my first Model 18 and I am anxiously awaiting it's arrival. The serial number is 4334XX. Can anyone help with the birthday of this revolver?

If that serial number has a "k" in front of it (and it should), it was made in mid-1961.
