Hello I am looking for get a model 19-2 2.5 inch barrel but I can't seem to find them anywhere on the internet? Only 19-3s.... Did the 19-2s not come in 2.5 inch?

They did, but are not seen too often. I have seen 2 on Gunbroker in the last year. Both went for big bucks.

I have a nickel 19-2 with a 2.5inch barrel and a blued version is also on my radar.

What time frame where the 19-2s made....................................M*

If the reason you want a -2 is for pinned and recessed, then I wouldn't sleep on the -3s. I recently got a nice 2.5" 19-3 that has pinned barrel and recessed cylinder chambers. Got it earlier this year at a LGS.

The same can be said for 19-4s. Picked up this minty 1978 nickel P&R -4 at my lgs a few years ago for $550. Great shooter!

That's a beauty!

And honestly, the ones that are not P&R'd are great guns, as well. Not sure why they're not as highly regarded, but I do recognize the differences in terms of collectibility. I have many more P&R Smiths than non P&R, but really like them all.
