Found a Model 19-3 at LGS. Per the serial number it was produced in 1971 - same year I returned from Vietnam. Seems to be in excellent condition 95% or better. Waiting on Galco holster and combat grips. Plan on using 38+p for practice and 130 gr 357 Magnum for social purposes. Apologize in advance for the quality of the pictures.

congrats, great catch. do the grips number to the gun. very nice find either way. kenny

Looks great from the photos you posted. Congratulations! I have a nickel 19 that I rarely use, but I'll never get rid of - it's one of my "Safe Queens." Sounds like you've made good ammo choices as well. Enjoy!

Congrats on finally getting one of the best all around self defense revolvers ever produced.

To me the M-19/66's series are the ideal personal defense handgun. Easy to carry but feel like a real handgun in the hand. Enjoy..

Very nice M19, great revolver you will grow very fond of it.
I like Magna style stocks with a Tyler-T grip for it’s compactness.
I have a 19-3, made in 1970. Still going strong after all most 52 years.

Looks great! Congrats on finding one! I've been looking a long time for one that was priced what I consider "affordable" - which pretty much means a shooter-grade specimen.

Congrats! You will love it.

I found a 4" 19-3 earlier this year. I had wanted one for a long time and it was well worth the wait.

Let us know how it shoots once you get it to the range.

Nice gun one of my favs. I have a 19-2 that looks pretty much the same. you are going to love it.

You picked up a great snubby in really nice condition! Although most of my modest collection is composed of N-frames, I do have a couple of nice Model 19s...a nickel 19-4 snubby and a 19-3 Texas Ranger. I really like both of them. Enjoy your 19-3!
