Does anyone have a picture of one with the stocks that came on the 19-4? I just picked up two 19's and they both have rubber. Will I be able to buy stocks like came on them?
Thanks

Heres mine, hope this helps. Somewhat easy to find, especially on this site. John

:) I know these grips are not what came on the gun but you might consider something like these. They are Craig Spegel grips. Don

John and armybass have the correct photos; they have the larger "speedloader" cutout on the left, as opposed to the extractor or "football" cutout that were made before these.

I just posted a 6" with all target extras, before seeing your post. Some of the older ones have the "foot ball" non-cutaway stocks like you see on some of the older N Frames.

My 19-4s have the grips others are showing.

They are widely available. You can find a set readily, on the Internet.

Congrats on your purchase...you will love the gun.

I can't believe I missed a chance to post pics of my two 19-4s....No need...both have the origional grips and both are as pictured in the first response...so I will await another opportunity to post pics.

Enjoy your 19-4

My 19-4, purchased new by me in 1978 came with the earlier football cutout. It still wears the original grips to this day!

girvin02, I think Mama S&W must have had twins! My 19 is identical to yours except for the red insert that I added to the front sight 30+ years ago!
