I just picked up a Model 19-4 6 in nickel. Serial no 44K1194.Can"t seem to find when it was made. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a bookmark for K frames but someone with the actual book should verify but this looks like 1978-1979

44K numbers were used in 1978. Very likely yours shipped in 1979, as Mike stated.
