Model 19-5 front sight insert

I need to source the front sight insert and or kit for a Model 19-5 as it has no insert on the ramp
That or some ideas on how to make one. I did melt some plastic into the ramp, but it is less than solid and will probably walk out while blasting. Casting Resin? Does it work?

I used 2 part clear epoxy mixed with some red enamel paint.
