I looked at a Model 19, 6 inch, pinned and recessed, blued. It is in the original box, no papers or tools, but looks unfired, just a turn line. Store is asking $650. What do you think? Gun is in S/E Pa. Thanks
It sounds like a nice gun, perhaps $100 or so high on the price, but I am cheap . A NIB 19-2 may be worth this. If you like or "have" to have it you might offer a little less, say $600 OTD, and see what they say.
I really like the M19, but I agree with the other two post. That is just to much money. I would just keep looking around you will find a nice M19 for less. There are a lot of nice ones out there. Don
My hunting pardner found me a NIB snub 19-3 with all the original accoutrements at the Market Hall show last year for $500. I thought it was a steal. If I was looking for a 6" gun, I would be sorely tempted to pay $650 for one in its box if it would fit into my collection. I wouldn't lose money on it. The tools are easy enough to find for that time frame and you are talking about one of the nicest models that were made. I don't see too many unfired 19s around for sale.
