I came across a used Model 19-6 yesterday at a pawn shop. They are asking $499, but he said he would let it go for $405. Is that a good price? The gun has some holster wear and the barrel looks pretty good.
Here are a few good links on inspecting revolvers before purchase:It's about a 4" barrel. the cylinder was tight, it wasn't loose at all. I cocked the hammer back and tried push it with my thumb and it wouldn't fire. I checked the rifling in the barrel, it looked good. I don't know anymore to check for. What am I not doing to check this gun?
