Good Evening.....looked at a Model 19-7 Snub today, many changes in this late model. 2.5" with MIM trigger and thumb Latch, forged trigger with firing pin attached, non factory ugly wood stocks. Gun is very clean , with just a trace of a turn line. None of the screws were ever turned. Nice gun except for the stocks and not sure on the price.....firm at 700. Any thoughts?
Thanks

My father in law bought a 19-5 2 1/2" for 475 in box with documents from lgs this weekend. Lnib with 50 rounds of 38 specials through it. Guy wasn't sure how we all carry these snub nose guns in pockets after he bought it new so he stuck it in the box and in the sock drawer.
Finally decided to get rid of it. I've handled it and before he and I broke it in with around 400 rounds it could have been detailed and passed of as new in box.
Do as you wish, I think for that kind of cash you could find better.

Just my thought...

Sounds a little high to me.

When I've seen them...and not too many snubbies, they're in the 550-600 range and that has been for the earlier ones. BBGV 35th shows 650.00 100% without the adds
Sounds like at least 1997 edition and blued. I know you said firm...but you never know.

Unless you're really struck...

There are several on Gunbroker if that's an option.

If you're really in love...Consider the price with tax and fees. Talk to the seller and say "700 out the door"...wave the money at him...you never know.
Snubbies tend to drive the prices a little
