Can you share some info on the Buffalo horn grips? The couple of Eagle grips I have tried needed fitting. Did yours need any effort or did they fit just right? Would you say they as slippery or do they have that sort of natural tacky (I'm not sure what to call it) like ivory or stag horn has? I'm in love with those and will likely become a copycat as soon as I save up for some of my own.

These were purchased from Ebay and I don't know if there was any fitting done by any previous owner. The fit is not as nice as factory grips up
around the horns and right behind the trigger guard but I have seen worse. Overall, they fit well as you can see.
"Are the grips slippery?" Yes they certainly are, especially after a couple of coats of Ren wax. I was going for a certain look with these grips
and all I can say is that they are pretty much for show. You would really have to hang on to the gun if you were to shoot it with these babys.
