May be a little high. I looked at completed auctions and a new one sold in an auction new in box for $607. Another went for $625. A 6" for $649. Plus shipping of course which seems to be $75 now. At least it was on all of those. But those are all NIB unfired.
I couldn't find an auction on a used one.
How much a gun will sell for is a very complicated question. Run of the mill Smith & Wesson revolvers have seen dramatic price rises in the last 10 years. No one wanted them. A revolver was just not going to cut it in a striker fired polymer large capacity world. Double action revolver shooting became a lost art. Then, in the blink of an eye, we started appreciating what absolute works of art, function and utility those guns always had. What was old became "new" again. 3 years ago the lowly Colt SP1 literally skyrocketed in popularity and price. The S&W revolvers, even the utilitarian K frame .38 special Model 10s became expensive. I think the market has taken a break to catch it's breath. This past summer I picked up an exceptional 4" square butt blued 19-7 for $500.00. No box and Uncle Mike's rubber grips but still a real 19. I don't know how long this will last and I'm sure price and geography go hand in hand. You may want to hold on to the gun. If it's not hurting you, see where the prices are a 6 months to a year from now. Check the gun shops to see what similar condition Model 19s are going for in your neck of the woods. The internet is nice but but it may not reflect prices locally.
