Model 19's

I currently find myself without a revolver, sad I know. Time to get another S&W. I'm thinking a four inch 19. Had a 3.5 pre 27 (beautiful gun) but thought the barrel could have been .5 inches longer. The I had a 2.5 19 that was nickel. Sweet little gun, but someone bubbaed the front sight (not uncommon unfortunately) and I found I could have carried the 4 inch almost as easily.

So I guess my new "quest" begins.

I don't have any 4" 19's

If you liked the 27 but thought it was 1/2" too short, you could look into a 4" HP.

These are sweet to shoot, and just as addicting.

A 4" blue M-19 was a very common gun so it doesn't have as much sex appeal to some people as the rarer guns do. But in my opinion it is one of the most beautiful guns ever made and it handles and shoots every bit as well as it looks!

I am a K frame freeeek but to have nine 19s it's just not fair. Dad told me it would be this way. I have one 19 but I am in love with her.

You can't go wrong with a S&W 19. They didn't name it the "Combat Magnum" for nothing.

As my bud 18DAI says:

"Model 19 Combat Magnum. Everything you need in a revolver, and nothing you don't".

Here my nickel 2.5" and my favorite stainless twin in 66-2 3". They both wear Ahrends grips. You will not be dissapointed with either the snub or the 4", though the 2.5" is easier to carry concealed if you can legally do so.

I have a S&W mod. 19-5 357 Magnum with a 4" barrel and would like to know about when it was made. I purchased it used 20 years ago. It's in perfect condition and has not been used much. It's blued. The serial # is 141K***
