It’s ironic that the Mod 22 is in 45 cal while the Mod 45 is in 22 cal.

Not many model marked 22s to be seen outside of the more recent dash 4s. Thanks for sharing!

Here's a quick phone pic of mine. It has some holster wear and finish loss, but since I have a thing for low production numbers, I like it!
I didn't take a shot of the yoke, but it's marked just like Lyle's.

I’m thinking not but I didn’t follow this auction closely. And the condition too looks really nice.

A Model 45 in .22 has been on my short list of wants for years. A lot more than 178 produced, but I've never had a chance to get one for a fair price.

I got the figure from the SCSW 5th. Larger overall production number, but .'Knowledgeable collectors report that approximately 178 were stamped with a model number after 1957 to 1963.'

I believe you are misinterpreting what cgt4570 wrote. He was talking about the Model 45 in 22LR, not the Model 22 in 45 ACP.
