Can I get some opinions of the value of a model 24-3, in 98-99% condition? Has a barely perceptable turn line, that you have to look closely to see.

If that's for sale here in Southern California, I'll give you $1000 for it right now.

Here in my neck of the woods (north central Indiana) I would expect $700-$800 for that gun, but sometimes you can find them for less - if you are patient and look a long time. :)

Here in SE Tenn I wouldn't hesitate to thump down $800. My first one I bought 15 years ago for $400. I now own 7 various model 24-3's and 624's. Just can't get enough of them. Actively looking for another 3" either blued or SS.

I don't live in California, if that's what you mean. If it's legal to ship to California, I asume I could ship it. Let me know if it's legal, and I'll check with my dealer to see if he has any problems shipping it for me.

Nice roscoe!

Here in the formerly free state of California, we can only buy non rostered handguns if they were already here prior to the roster's inception.

Exceptions are intrafamilial transfer, single shot exemption or the personal firearms of a person that physically moves here with their firearms.

Not to worry, CalGuns is actively working this "safety roster" through the courts towards its final demise.

You see, if it had ANYTHING to do with safety, police and government agencies would be prohibited from purchasing them also... but they're not.

There's a big trade in making certain handguns "single shot" and then converting right back to normal. This gets around the restriction but it works best with things like a 1911.

Best of luck selling that 24, someone is going to be very happy with it.

I saw one on GB, asked the guy cond, he said 99%. He is looking for 679.00 plus shipping, so a bit over 700......
