Picked this up today at LGS....just got finished shooting her....tack driver with Silvertips and 225gr LSWCHP.....

You did very well. I own a 25-5 that was likely a DeKalb county PD gun though it is not marked as such. The .45 Colt cartridge performs well in spite of it's age.

Is your boss going to wind up with this one to?

...I hope to get that Dekalb PD 25-5 back from the chief!

As I recall, the DeKalb PD guns were not marked, but they came with a standard hammer and trigger. I believe most of the regular 25-5 guns had a target hammer and trigger. Dean
