Anyone know the date of Mfg. The serial #'s are N476xxx. The gun is in excellent condition, as I bought it in 1994 and rarely shot it. It has the 6 inch barrel.. By looking at the gun values of this model, it seems to be in the 500-600 dollar range..Thanks for any info..

The DOB would be in 1978 based on he serial number

Thanks a lot. Didn't have much trouble looking up other guns Mfg dates..Guess I need a S&W book.
