Considering one on an auction site. Looks to be in excellent condition. Aftermarket elk grips, no box or paperwork, 3.5 inch barrel. Thoughts on price? Site has 24% buyer's premium (when did that become a thing? I have to pay you to buy it? And you no doubt gouge the consignor a similar amount. I'm in the wrong business.)

24% BP is outrageous!! Then there is tax on that total. I've seen 5" 27-2 w/ display box, etc go for $1780 OTD. Keep your pocket calculator handy.

That gun is going to go for 16-1800( my guess), plus 24%, plus shipping, plus sales tax. Then you need correct grips if you don't have them. I am assuming this is a 1975-80 N prefix gun. Bottom line, maybe 2400. ASSUMING, it does not go for more than 1800. 3.5" M27's are selling for some salty prices.

Why anyone would be a part of a 24% buyer’s premium is an absolute mystery to me.

If I were a seller and my host told me he was going to boof the buyer for 24%, I’d be OUT.
