Model 27 Pricing

So what is the latest on model 27 thru 27-2 6"ers these days? I know condition is everything but can you find a 95% or better for under $1000?

Yes, you should be able to find a 27-2 in nice shape for well under $1000; although probably not with the box/documents etc. Don't remember seeing a six inch lately but have seen a couple 8 3/8 27-2s in the $700-$800 range.

You should be able to find a very nice one in your price range, easily. Mostly it’s the 3.5 inch guns that are going for crazy prices these days.

A nice 98% s&w m27-2 6" barrel in blue should be between $800 to $1,000. Anything lower is a steal. A better condition than 98% may cost a few hundred more.

Why settle for a lesser condition unless you want a shooter/truck gun/beater.

I see nice , really nice 3 1/2" 27-2's selling for 1000-1200 on auction sites. No box, just really nice guns. 98% boxed ones often sell for as much as 1500.00 +.

85%-90% guns seem to be more like $650.

Saw a very nice 8-3/8 27-2 at the LGS for $850. Looks like it hadn't been shot more than a time or two.

A 98% or 99% can be found maybe for around $800/$900 if you stay looking. I wouldn't holster them but they will go to the range.
