Model 27 Rear Sight Hardware

I'm replacing a Aimpoint red dot scope and B Square mount on my model 27. I've purchased a Millet adjustable rear sight but need the mounting hardware. I've tried everyone locally with no results, I've got a Brownells catalog ordered and assume they will have what I need to install it. Any tips on installing it once I get the needed hardware.

The "Hardware" is one screw. There are two sizes depending on period of manufacture. Try S&W (surprise!), Brownells, Jack First and others.

The only tip is to use a properly sized screwdriver and don't be afraid to tighten the screw instead of just gently "snug". These are heat treated and much stronger than you would imagine.

Thanks for the reply, I see where the front screw would be hard to miss, according to the S & W parts breakdown I've printed out it appears there is a rear mounting as well. One appears to be similar to a T nut that is screwed into under the rear elevation adjustment. Again thanks for the reply.

All of that should come with the Millett sight.
