model 27 value

What is a reasonable price for 99%, 4" 27-2. Revolver only The "Standard Catalog" states that both the 4 and 3½" models command roughly the same premium, however I find it difficult to believe that relationship exists in the current market.

The 3 1/2" is more common than the 4", but the reverse seems to be the norm for value. Are you a buyer or seller?

Thats the conclusion I have come to. I'm a potential buyer at $950. It might be a little on the high side but haven't seen any pristine 4" models for sale lately. Especially in Ca.

Thats no to bad . I don't quibble over a few 100 if I really like it I would buy it no matter what anyone says. If its a face to face sale you can usually dicker some.

The 4" M27-2 was only made for a few years in the late '70s and early '80s. They are not common. I don't think that price is out of line. I have one I paid $300 for about 15 years ago. No box, but it's in about 99% condition. Had no idea how scarce it is until I joined the Forum.
I wouldn't sell it for that price.

The 3 1/2" models are fairly easy to find (but expensive ) !
The 4" versions are difficult to find (and also expensive) !

hi grab it you will not be disappointed , fine guns and quite the conversation piece.

i was able too get a 4"bbl nickle plate triple t 27-2 awhile ago and am very very happy i did.
