Model 28 value

What would be a rough guess for the going price on a 4 screw 4" model 28 in what I'd guess to be 90% with original grips? No rust or pitting, just looks like holster wear. I have a guy wanting to give me one on trade and I'm not familiar with what they're worth. Thanks for your help.

Based on the info given and the pic I'd say somewhere in the $475 to $525 range. M28's are showing more of a following as of late and their values are increasing.

I agree, $500 is a reasonable ballpark. I just bought a 6" in much nicer condition for $535, but the 4" are worth a $50 to $75 premium I think.
