I've got the opportunity to purchase a Highway Patrolman. The finish is very worn, but I'm told it locks up tight. Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to make the trip over to see it in person. What is a fair value for this gun?

How high is up? Without some good pictures, no one can give you a good answer. Sight unseen, I'd be very hesitant to go beyond $400.

I don't see any pitting. $400 to $450 max. Offer $300 to start.

It's a pretty fair deal I think, but I've decided to hold off on this one. I don't really have room in the budget. If anyone else is interested it's listed on Armslist right now in GA for $350, he said he'd ship for another $30.
