Hello - this is my 1st post -

i have a model 29-10 which is engraved - master lock, 4 screw side cover -It came to me in a presentation box - I am trying to figure out what I have...

it has a serial # starting DAT

it appears to have another # on the crane numbered in the 300's

Thanks

Welcome to the forum! I don't know much about the newer 29's but someone will let you know for sure what you have. That said I believe you have one of the 50th Anniversary models(but those have gold on the 4 screw side plate) or one of the many other distributor "special" models. Nice looking gun. What is the bbl length? Is it in a wood box with any markings? Kyle

thanks kKyle
6 " barrel and definetley no gold....
No markings on presentation box and I dont have original box.

Hi Marswalker:

You have a machine engraved Model 29. They produced them in both blue and nickel finish. The factory is now doing a 4 inch version in both finishes. The 4 inch guns have a neat set of laser engraved wood grips.
